It’s a shame that most games never quite seem to get the genre right. That all looks set to finally change with the release of Red Dead Redemption! It’s an open-world game from the creators of Grand Theft Auto IV and it looks like it’s going to be a really nice blend of both the old and new western style… I’m sure glad I picked up a PS3 this year! Nick Cave is writing. The story follows three brothers at the center of the moonshine trade during the great depression. That is all that needs to be said. It’s definitely at the top of my must see list. If you haven’t already seen the 2005 Hillcoat/Cave masterpiece, The Proposition, you really must. It is one of the most impressive (and brutal) films I’ve ever seen.
