I’m a huge fan of westerns, both the classics and the “new breed” of western like Unforgiven, The Proposition and The Assassination of Jessi James. It’s a shame that most games never quite seem to get the genre right. That all looks set to finally change with the release of Red Dead Redemption! It’s an open-world game from the creators of Grand Theft Auto IV and it looks like it’s going to be a really nice blend of both the old and new western style… I’m sure glad I picked up a PS3 this year!
